This is how it started

The origins of 440park can be traced back to when Mark had Bob Kaplan as a professor at Harvard Business School.

Kaplan’s classes were hard, and the readings required many re-reads.

But once Mark cracked the nuance and obvious value of Strategy Maps, the entirety of the Strategy Management Framework that Bob Kaplan developed with David Norton became clear.

Over the next fifteen years, Mark applied this framework to both company strategy challenges as well as functional area planning and problem solving. The elegance of the framework allowed for use across all organization types, and when applied to Mark’s problem solving style, presents as a reliable way to tackle many kinds of challenges - not just company strategy.
